Best Picture Drama; "Lady Bird" won for Best Picture Comedy
or Musical; Gary Oldman ("The Darkest Hour") and James
Franco ("The Disaster Artist") both won for Best Actor in
drama and in comedy, respectively; Frances McDormand ("Three
Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri") won for Best Actress in a
dramatic role, while Saoirse Ronan ("Lady Bird") won for
Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical; "In the
Fade", the German-French film about a woman whose life collapses
after her husband and son die in a bomb attack, won the Golden Globe
for Best Foreign Language Motion Picture. Mexican filmmaker Guillermo
Del Toro won for Best Director for “The Shape of Water”, and “The
