'Three Billboards...', Saoirse Ronan, Gary Oldman and Guillermo Del Toro win Golden Globes

"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" won the Golden Globe for Best Picture Drama; "Lady Bird" won for Best Picture Comedy or Musical; Gary Oldman ("The Darkest Hour") and James Franco ("The Disaster Artist") both won for Best Actor in drama and in comedy, respectively; Frances McDormand ("Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri") won for Best Actress in a dramatic role, while Saoirse Ronan ("Lady Bird") won for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical; "In the Fade", the German-French film about a woman whose life collapses after her husband and son die in a bomb attack, won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Motion Picture. Mexican filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro won for Best Director for “The Shape of Water”, and “The Handmaid's Tale” won for Best Television Series – Drama. The Golden Globes are awarded each year by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, to the best achievements in motion pictures and in television. The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday, January 7, 2018, in Los Angeles, California.
