'Black Panther', Glenn Close, Rami Malek y Emily Blunt triunfan en los premios SAG

Los actores del filme de superhéroes “Black Panther” fueron la sorpresa de la noche, al ganar el trofeo de Mejor Elenco en una Película, con lo que se impusieron ante las favoritas “BlacKkKlansman” y “A Star is Born”, en la entrega anual número 25, de los premios del Sindicato de Actores en Pantalla (SAG, por sus siglas en inglés), que se efectuó el 27 de enero del 2019, en el Shrine Auditorium Expo Hall en Los Ángeles, California.
Entre los ganadores que se llevaron las premios en las categorías de lo mejor del cine del 2018, están Glenn Close (“The Wife”), quien ganó por mejor actriz principal; Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”) por mejor actor principal; Mahershala Ali (“Green Book”) por mejor actor secundario y la otra sorpresa de la noche, Emily Blunt, quien ganó la estatuilla como mejor actriz secundaria, por la película de terror “A Quiet Place”.

'Black Panther', Glenn Close, Rami Malek and Emily Blunt triumph at the SAG awards

The actors of the Marvel superhero film “Black Panther” were the big surprise of the night, after wining for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a motion picture, defeating favorites like “BlacKkKlansman” and “A Star is Born”, in the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which took place on January 27, 2019, at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium Expo Hall.
Among the other winners in the motion picture categories are Glenn Close (“The Wife”), who won for Best Actress in a Leading Role; Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”), who won for Best Actor in a Leading Role;  Mahershala Ali (“Green Book”), Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and the other big surprise of the night, Emily Blunt, who took home the Best Actress in a Supporting Role trophy, for the horror film “A Quiet Place”.

El filme mexicano “Roma” acaparó 10 nominaciones al Oscar, incluyendo una por Mejor Película, una por Película en Lengua Extranjera y otra por Mejor Director (Alfonso Cuarón); la cinta “BlacKkKlansman”, de Spike Lee, obtuvo seis nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película y Director; la actriz seis veces nominada al Oscar, Glenn Close, recibió su séptima nominación a esta estatuilla por “The Wife”, así como la revelación de “Roma”, Yalitza Aparicio, quien obtuvo su primera nominación como mejor actriz; Willem Dafoe (“At Eternity’s Gate”) y Christian Bale (“Vice), están entre los nominados a Mejor Actor; el filme polaco “Cold War”, de Pawel Pawlikowski, obtuvo 3 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película en Lengua Extranjera; el filme de superhéroes “Black Panther” recibió 7 nominaciones al Oscar, incluyendo Mejor Película; “Avengers Infinity War”, “First Man” y “Solo: A Star Wars Story”, compiten en la categoría de Mejores Efectos Visuales; “Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse”, y la cinta animada “Isle of Dogs”, de Wes Anderson, están en la terna de Mejor Largometraje de Animación.
La entrega anual número 91 de los premios Oscar, de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de Estados Unidos, se efectuará el 24 de febrero del 2019.
