'Black Panther', Glenn Close, Rami Malek and Emily Blunt triumph at the SAG awards

The actors of the Marvel superhero film “Black Panther” were the big surprise of the night, after wining for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a motion picture, defeating favorites like “BlacKkKlansman” and “A Star is Born”, in the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which took place on January 27, 2019, at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium Expo Hall.
Among the other winners in the motion picture categories are Glenn Close (“The Wife”), who won for Best Actress in a Leading Role; Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”), who won for Best Actor in a Leading Role;  Mahershala Ali (“Green Book”), Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and the other big surprise of the night, Emily Blunt, who took home the Best Actress in a Supporting Role trophy, for the horror film “A Quiet Place”.
